Recreational Youth Soccer teams at Ontario Provincial Soccer Leauges are coached by parent volunteers. In this way we can provide children an opportunity to play and participate at an affordable cost. If you can help out, please check the box on your child's registration form. 

Training Manuals and preseason coaching clinics are provided to help coaches get started and provide excellent drills and tips for practices.

Sometimes a coach cannot fulfill their commitment to coach the team. This may be to changes in their personal life or their work schedule. It is then up to the parents to step up and help out. Two or three parents working together results in a successful year for all of the kids.

It is not necessary to have a strong soccer background to coach recreational house league teams. The best coaches are those who put the kids first and understand that the children sign up to participate and have fun.
