The OPSL Totshots Program is an 8 week program geared towards children ages 3 & 4 years of age. The Program is an introductory league designed to teach your youngster the basic skills of soccer, teamwork and sharing, while participating in creative programming with his or her peers.

Players will be divided into teams and divisions determined by your child's social behavior, personality and motor skills.

Each session will begin with a warm up which will be followed by the skills & drills portion of the program.

Your child will participate with his or her team mates in obstacle courses, games and fun activities designed to introduce basic soccer skills.

Each week a basic skill will be introduced. Each field will have a referee who will be able to demonstrate and help with the skill for the week. We encourage parent helpers in order to keep the children focused and moving, so parents please bring your running shoes. The skill portion will be followed by a game. This is the most enjoyable part of the evening. Your goal is to encourage and point them in the right direction. Keep them moving and running after the ball. The referees will do their best to teach them the proper rules like when to take a throw in, goal kicks and of course not to pick up the ball with their hands. You need to make sure they are listening to the whistle and stop whenever it is blown.

Before each session is over your youngster will have the opportunity to show off his or her new found skills in a game situation against the other teams in their division.

Players are required to bring their balls to each session and are to be wearing shin guards and soccer cleats or a running shoe and in full uniform.

Program will start on time so arrive early to ensure that the children are ready to start on time.

Please write your child's name on their ball in permanent marker!

Remember - the goal is to participate and have fun !
All players receive awards at the end of the year !
